Being a Real Estate agent has always been uncomfortable for me, growing up with a Cleft Palate and a hearing impediment, I’ve always feared that I will be judged by people due to my appearance and I will have difficulty communicating with my clients.

One of the main reasons of really wanting to set foot in the industry was seeing how Real Estate transformed many people’s lives through right decisions but also destroyed many financially because they bought into the wrong property and have to take six figure losses.
I saw my dad’s golden retirement years saved by Real Estate as e-commerce eroded his business went bust. However, due to his shrewd investment when he had the ability to, he’s able to still retire comfortably with the sole help of making the right decisions in Real Estate.
Although there’s a lot of information in the marketplace for Singapore’s Real Estate at the moment, I’ve also seen that buyers are still making wrong investment decisions due to emotional purchases and agents having a very “glib” tongue and pushing clients to sell their property at the “wrong price, wrong time” or buying something that based on conventional information. I’ve even had friends of mine who have bought into a new launch right beside a resale development, and now the new launch unit he’s trying to offload is struggling to find buyers while the resale development beside it has already made more than 100% ROE!
Within the 4 years in the industry, I’ve helped over 100 families thread through their property journey and I'm also leading a team of more than 5 agents on my own.
